Katt Williams told his mother and father that he wanted to become a comedian like Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby.
At 13, Katt Williams emancipated himself from his parents and moved to Florida, where

Katt Williams returned to Florida for his first stand-up performance, which occurred before
Katt Williams was legally old enough to be allowed into the club.
Katt Williams continued to pursue a stand-up career across the country, making stops in Oklahoma City, Sacramento and Oakland, where

Katt Williams moved with son Micah to Los Angeles, where Katt Williams
has become a presence at the Improv, the Comedy Club, The Ice House and The Hollywood Park Casino (where
Katt Williams had his own room and a large, loyal following).
In 2002, Katt Williams auditioned for the Montreal Comedy Festival and was chosen as one of the New Faces to perform at the festival. Before
